I had the extreme pleasure of attending the 15th Annual Wiener Dog Races in Buda, Texas this year. It was everything I hoped for and so much more. We saw dogs with wheels on their tiny back legs, wieners in wagons, some crazy mixed breeds (lab/dachshund mix?!), and of course the cutest little dogs on earth running as fast as they can... sometimes down the lanes and sometimes just off into a corner. Check out this shot of one of the races; the dog in the left lane is haulin'! Yes, those are his ears in the air....
And now to introduce Lucy, aka Goosey, aka Goose E. Girl. Ok its really just Goose. I captured this amazing moment of her rolling in who knows what...
After the rolling around, Goose discovered the puppy pool! She frolicked around for a good 15 minutes and then we had to make her get out and give the other puppies a chance to get their toes wet!
You have probably noticed her fantastic leash by now... this was a gift from a co-worker who couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy this hot accessory for Goose! Needless to say it was a huge hit.
And these are two very proud parents :) We had such a great weekend and can't wait for next year!
