Introductions

July 13, 2012

Happy Friday the 13th?

I don't know about you, but usually when I read someone's lifestyle blog, I like to know a little bit about the author and their life. Otherwise I have a hard time believing anything they say. So here is just a tid bit about me and my life.  If this introductory post isn't enough detail to satisfy, and you still aren't believin', you can certainly read more about my adventures on my blog: alittlewhitenoise.

So here we go!

My name is Laurel White, and Fridays on Sunday Hatch now "belong" to me.

This is me and my mister, Tim.

This is the amazing Mr Dog.
(Mr Dog also goes by Oscar Wilde, OscarPants, O-Town, Mr. Dude, and Bubba.
Here, "Hermano" would also work just fine.)

Together we make a cozy family of three, and live in one of the best cities on earth: Austin, TX. After school and life moved us all over the country, we ended up right back where we started!  Aside from the ridiculous summer heat, we love practically everything about being here.

Besides the obvious two pictured above, I love: cheese, travel, cold weather, hot baths, red chewy Sprees, green tea lemonade, watercolor, historical fiction, weekends, cleaning, writing, live theatre, paper goods, weddings, Pinterest, interior decorating, architecture, worn leather, mid-century design, holidays, the royal family, gifts, plants, old things, new things, baked goods, mint & lavender, the letter W, and the color white.  And that's just for starters.

By trade, I'm a Wedding Planner, because I like planning and I love weddings.  (Bring it, Bridezilla.)  But don't worry -- as you can see from the list above, I like a great many things besides planning weddings.  In fact, this will be a place for me to share thoughts on other things, and hopefully to hear some of yours.

Oh, I also like to talk a lot, and I suspect Fridays will be mostly that, but with pictures.
Food for Thought.
Get Ready.

'til next Friday, folks.
Enjoy your weekend!
